Welcome to BookLore! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, including the mobile app, website, and services offered. By accessing or using BookLore, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the BookLore mobile app, website, and associated services.
• "User" refers to anyone who accesses or uses BookLore, including readers and authors.
• "Author" refers to a user who publishes books on the platform.
• "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to BookLore and its operators.

2. User Accounts & Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect fraudulent activity, unauthorized use, or a violation of these Terms.

3. Book Purchases & Coupon System

• Readers can purchase books using coupons, which must be bought through our platform.
• Coupons are non-refundable once used to unlock a book or chapter.
• Purchased books remain accessible in your library, unless removed due to violations of our policies.

4. Author Rights & Responsibilities

• Authors retain ownership of their content but grant BookLore a license to distribute, market, and display their books.
• Authors must ensure their content does not infringe copyright laws or contain illegal, offensive, or misleading material.
• BookLore reserves the right to reject or remove any book that violates platform guidelines.
• Payouts for author earnings are processed based on the revenue share model and subject to our Earnings & Payout Policy.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:
🚫 Upload or distribute illegal, copyrighted, or explicit content.
🚫 Engage in fraudulent activities, such as using stolen payment methods.
🚫 Attempt to hack, modify, or disrupt the platform’s functionality.
🚫 Impersonate other users, authors, or BookLore staff.

Violating these rules may result in account suspension or permanent banning from the platform.

6. Refund Policy

• Coupons & Book Purchases: All purchases made using coupons are non-refundable, unless there is a proven technical issue that prevents book access.
• Authors' Earnings: Author payouts are final and non-refundable once processed.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

• We collect and process user data as described in our Privacy Policy.
• By using BookLore, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information in accordance with our policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

• BookLore is provided "as is" without warranties.
• We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from the use of the platform.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free performance.

9. Modifications to These Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time.
• Continued use of the platform after updates signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.
• Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration before legal proceedings.
